Delivery to Remote Areas
Some remote, rural, island or offshore postcode areas may take longer to reach.
In certain areas, delivery can take 2–3 working days, depending on courier availability and local delivery routes.
If you live in a remote area, we strongly recommend choosing a delivery date at least 3–4 working days before your event to allow extra time in case of delays.
Our fondant-covered cakes are designed to stay fresh when stored correctly at room temperature, so ordering a few days in advance is usually the safest option for remote deliveries.

Choosing the Best Delivery Date
For most UK deliveries, we recommend choosing a delivery date 1–2 working days before your event.
For remote areas, island addresses or high-risk delivery periods, we recommend choosing a delivery date 3–4 working days before your event.
During busy courier periods, including Christmas, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we strongly recommend allowing extra delivery time.
Leave-Safe Delivery
As cakes are perishable food items, national deliveries are sent using a leave-safe delivery service.
This means the courier may leave the parcel at the delivery address or in a safe place if required.
DHL will usually provide a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery where available. Please monitor your tracking information and bring the cake indoors as soon as it arrives.
Once the courier tracking shows the cake has been delivered to the delivery address or safe place, the customer is responsible for bringing it indoors and storing it correctly.
How to Store Your Cake
Once your cake arrives, please bring it indoors immediately and store it at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
Please do not store your cake in the fridge unless we specifically advise you to do so. Refrigeration can cause condensation, which may make colours run, decorations soften, edible images blur or the finish of the cake deteriorate.
Keep your cake away from direct sunlight, heat, radiators, ovens, moisture, pets and children.
